2012 SEASON : PROGRAMME

 

 

 

1. 2012:  January – March 4th (Sunday) – recruit/prepare gear/test gear/visit South Africa.  

 

Weekly/fortnightly beach training for all 2012 volunteers (dates to be informed).

 

2. March 3rd or 4th (Sat/Sun) – begin flat run training (Portsmouth College) and continue through March – possibly alternating Saturdays and Sundays (all crews).  

NOTE:  Command Team practice flat runs Friday evenings.

 

3. April 1st (Sunday) – rig ‘A’ crew track – set out flat run course on ‘B’ crew track.

 

4. June:  Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd –.Command crew week-end off.

 

5. 30th June (Saturday) – two South Africa challenge crews to Littlehampton (Armed Forces Day).

 

6. August 24th & 25th (Friday & Saturday) – Reunion week-end.

 

Innlodge accommodation now reserved for 24th & 25th August at 2011 prices.

Also booked for AGM Friday evening 24th.

 

RNA Waterlooville booked for Reunion Social – Saturday 25th August.

 

7. August 31st  evening travel to Chatsworth.  Saturday September 1st and Sunday September 2nd -  Chatsworth Country Fair

 

8. Late September/early October : proposed joint visit Portsmouth College and PAFG to South Africa for black township visit/Harrismith/Ranch/Durban and possibly Grahamstown (re-enactment).

 

10. November 30th – December 2nd : Final British Military Tournament (Earls Court).
